Abstract

°ñ°Ý¼º¥±±Þ ºÎÁ¤±³ÇÕÀÚ Áß ¼ºÀåÀÌ ¿Ï·áµÇ¾ú´Ù°í »ý°¢µÇ´Â ¸¸ 18¼¼ ÀÌ»óÀÇ ¿©ÀÚ37¸í, ¸¸20¼¼ ÀÌ»óÀÇ ³²ÀÚ 23¸íÀ» ¼±Á¤ÇÏ¿© Á¤»ó ¼ºÀÎÀÇ ¾È¸éºñ¸¦ ±âÁØÀ¸·Î hyperdivergent group(n=30)°ú hypodivergent group(n=30)À¸·Î ³ª´©¾î µÎºÎ¹æ»ç¼±±Ô°Ý»çÁøÀÇ Åõ»çµµ¸¦ ÀÛ¼ºÇÏ¿´À¸¸ç µÎ°³¾È¸é°ñ°Ý ¹× ÇôÀÇ Å©±â, ³ôÀÌ ±×¸®°í ÀÚ¼¼¸¦ ³ªÅ¸³»´Â Ç׸ñÀ» °èÃøÇÏ¿´°í, µÎ±º°£ÀÇ Â÷¿¡ ´ëÇÑ À¯ÀǼº °ËÁ¤ ¹× Çô¿Í µÎ°³¾È¸é°ñ°Ý ±×¸®°í ¾Ç°¡°ø°£ »çÀÌÀÇ »ó°ü°ü°è¸¦ Á¶»çÇÏ¿© ´ÙÀ½°ú °°Àº °á·ÐÀ» ¾ò¾ú´Ù.

1. µÎ ±ºÀÇ Çô¿Í ¾Ç°£°ø°£ÀÇ °èÃøÇ׸ñ ºñ±³½Ã ¾Ç°£°ø°£¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ÇôÀÇ ¸éÀûºñ(TS/IS)´Â hyperdivergent group¿¡¼­ ´õ Å©°Ô ³ªÅ¸³µÀ¸¸ç, PIH(posterior intermaxillary height)¿Í IS(intermaxillary space)´Â hypodivergent group¿¡¼­ ´õ Å©°Ô ³ªÅ¸³µÀ¸³ª ÇôÀÇ ³ôÀÌ¿Í ÀÚ¼¼¸¦ ³ªÅ¸³»´Â Ç׸ñ¿¡¼­´Â µÎ ±º°£¿¡ À¯ÀÇÇÒ ¸»ÇÑ Â÷ÀÌ°¡ ¾ø¾ú´Ù.

2. Çô¿Í µÎ°³¾È¸é°ñ°ÝÀÇ »ó°ü°ü°è ºñ±³½Ã µÎ ±º ¸ðµÎ¿¡¼­ ÇôÀÇ ¸éÀû(TS), ±æÀÌ(TGL) ±×¸®°í ³ôÀÌ(TH)¸¦ ³ªÅ¸³»´Â °èÃøÇ׸ñÀÌ Àü¾È¸ð°í°æ(AFH)°ú °¡Àå ³ôÀº »ó°ü°ü°è¸¦ ³ªÅ¸³ÂÀ¸¸ç, ¶ÇÇÑ hypodivergent group¿¡¼­´Â Èľȸð°í°æ(PFH)°úµµ ³ôÀº »ó°ü¼ºÀ» º¸¿´´Ù(p<0.01).

3. Çô¿Í ¾Ç°£°ø°£ÀÇ »ó°ü°ü°è ºñ±³½Ã µÎ ±º ¸ðµÎ Çô¿¡ °üÇÑ ´ëºÎºÐÀÇ Ç׸ñ(H-P Á¦¿Ü)ÀÌ ¾Ç°£°ø°£(IS)°ú °¡Àå ³ôÀº »ó°ü¼ºÀ» º¸¿´À¸¸ç, ÇôÀÇ ³ôÀÌ(TGH)¿Í ¸éÀû (TS)À» ³ªÅ¸³»´Â Ç׸ñÀº ¾Ç°£°ø°£ÀÇ AIH ¹× PIH¿Í ³ôÀº »ó°ü¼ºÀ» º¸¿´´Ù(p<0.01).

This study was designed to evaluate the correlations between tongue with skeletal pattern and intermaxillary space in Class ¥± malocclusin adult patients. Craniofacial skeletal pattern was analyzed on the lateral cephalometric radiograph and the subjects were divided two groups by facial ratio, the 30 subjects of hyperdivergent group and the 30 subjects of hypodivergent group. The size and posture of tongue and intermaxillary space were measured on the lateral cephalometric radiograph. These data were statistically analyzed to examine significant differences between both groups and compared the correlation between tongue with skeletal measurements and intermaxillary space in each group.

The results of the study were as follows. :
1. In comparison of th tongue and intermaxillary space, the measurement of TS/IS showed significantly larger in hyperdivergent group and PIH and IS showed significantly larger in hypodivergent group. There were no statistically significant differences in the measurements of the height and posture of tongue.

2. In correlation between tongue with craniofacial skeletal measurements, the length and height of tongue showed the highest correlation with AFH(anterior facial height) in both groups(p<0.011). And that measurements showed high correlation with PFH(posterior facial height) in hypodivergent group.

3. In both groups, most measurements of tongue showed high correlation with intermaxillary space and the height and space of tongue showed high correlation with AIH and PIH(p<0.01).
